out after breakfast.

Pirate Treasure Hunt starting at Ryde rowing club. A warm and sunny
summers dayhelped to make this
an excellent event, finishing on Appley beach in the early
afternoon. Easter
Sunday Services - We held special Easter services at St James
in Ryde and at Beulah Evangelical Church in Seaview. Both were very
well attended. The sermons from each are available to download at
the churches web sites.

Thursday
4th March 2010 - Quiz night at
Thorntons Cafe' in Ryde for young people of high school age. This is
the second time we have run this event and it always proves to
be popular. With over 70 young people attending it was an
excellent evening.

130 people enjoyed the evening and each took away a free

2009 - Sunday services with Rico Tice at St James' Church

As part of the 19th March event Helen Jelf gave her testimony. We
have included a video of her testimony here for you to listen to.
The 20th March was a youth event "Live Music Cafe" with live music
from Alan Wells and Rico tackling the question "Why Bother With
Jesus Today?"
In between these events Rico also found time to do a "morning for
mums" at St James' church hall, "Cream Tea" at the Copper Kettle in
Seaview, take the senior school assembly at Ryde High School, "Grill
a Christian" (also at Ryde High School) and "A Round Of Golf With
Rico"! ......................................................................................................
February 24th 2009 - Pancake
party at St James Church Hall for high school age young people. An evening
of pancakes, computer gaming and Karaoke was well attended. The
testimony of a young Ryde man called "Justin - Football Mad?" was
shown and we have included it here for you to watch.
February
7th 2009 - International curry night at St James' Church Ryde. 53
people came to enjoy the evening, most from outside the regular
church fellowship. The testimony of Helen Jelf was shown on DVD and
proved to be powerful and thought provoking.

January 29th 2009 - Quiz night at
Thorntons Cafe' in Ryde for high school age young people. Advertised
in the local high schools and youth club a total of 78 young people
attended making a total of 17 quiz teams. A great time was had by
all and during the half time break a gospel talk was given based on
John 1:18. More details of the evening are included in the recent
newsletter available
